Active & Wifi RFID Products

There are applications where items and people are tagged with Active RFID but readers are not permanently in place, or, tagged items and people are mobile and RFID needs to be mobile. For example, assets may be tagged at multiple facilities and periodically inventoried with a portable scanner. Or, 1st responders may be deployed to a disaster, and the entire RFID system must be mobile.

Wireless mesh network and other communications systems can be linked to the RFID infrastructure, and scans can be transmitted up to 10 miles distance to command centers.
